This annual public event is a visual extravaganza involving a cross-section of members of our wider community marching, dancing, singing together to celebrate the acceptance of diversity in New Zealand.
Both walking groups and floats will feature in this annual event. A stage and screen on the corner of Courtenay Place and Taranaki Street will feature live performances and a big screen at Odlin’s Plaza will replay all the action.
Performances will include the Wellington Orchestra, Royal New Zealand Ballet, Te Auaha NZ Institute of Creativity and a plethora of performers showcasing the highest level of talent our Wellington community has to offer.
This year we will be streaming the Parade via the internet with roving reporters keeping you up to date with all the activity. ILGA registered attendee’s will be able to participate and march in the ILGA group for free – please email us to register
